Dear Refuge of my Weary Soul

The past 5 months have gone by so fast, with many changes; some joyous, some tough, others bittersweet. But through it all my joy is never stolen and I have a peace that surpasses all understanding because Christ is my refuge (a shelter, protector, a sanctuary, my stronghold). Everyday we should remind ourselves of the Gospel, the Good News, and how depraved we are- there is nothing within myself that is good...my flesh is self-serving, prideful, arrogant, rude... But it is Christ and His Holy Spirit who abides within me that spurs me on to goodness, kindness, gentleness, patience, love. My sense of thankfulness can't really be described...I have so much it sometimes seems to seep out from my pores! For it is God who created this world and knitted me together in my mother's womb and knows the hairs on my head. Every thought, every movement He already knows! What an amazing creator we have!!

It is His will that we should strive after, not our own.

Well, with so many ways to share pictures these days I am sure none of them will be new, but it is still fun to post them and look at life's journey.

My Graduation and Celebration! So thankful to have a Master degree. Praise Jesus! :)
