What has been going on?

It has been too long, so much has happened since I wrote on here in May.

First, Happy Birthday Mom, you are awesome: 5/31/11
Thank you for inviting me to come along on your vacation. On 6/4 I flew into Houston to start our week long vacation in San Antonio. It was perfect timing, I was able to see my Nanny and Grandaddy and go to my Nephew Riley's 2nd birthday party:

He wanted to get in the pool...not take a pic with aunt CeCe!

Sweet boy LOVED his cupcake...

Mmmm...

Then Sunday morning we headed to San Antonio for a full week of adventures. First we went to the San Antonio Zoo, that was fun...unfortunately the animals were very hot and were mostly sleeping in the shade... But it was great to be with my little sister.

I think it is full!

The next day we went to the Natural Bridge Caverns. As a little girl I went to a place like this..somewhere outside of Austin (don't remember the name) But I am glad that we went because at my age I could really understand the beauty and wonder of the Caverns. God is so majestic...

Defying gravity...the water flows upward to create these magnificent pieces of art

Together at the deepest point underground any one can walk to!

Afterward we went across the street to the Wildlife Nature Park. Here you drive your car through an animal reservation and feed the exotic animals...my favorite was the Zebra! He/She stuck his/her head into our car and started to grad my bag of food out of my hand! A Very hungry Zebra!

"Hello There...Can I have some food please."

Sadly my camera died during this venture and I did not have it for the rest of the trip. But I was able to get a waterproof camera for Sea World. Those pictures are coming soon. I hope they turn out good. We saw some amazing things! (My favorite was feeding and petting the Dolphins)

But the last day we went in-town and walked around. Saw the Alamo and ate lunch at the River Walk.
The Alamo, on of the most important places, and what it represents, in our history

As soon as I got back from San Antonio I had about an hour before I got into the car with my grandmother and sister to head to Fort Worth for a GREAT weekend. Saturday we toured University of Texas at Arlington's campus for Kellie. She really enjoyed that, we finished her application and will hear soon from the college of her acceptance, hopefully :) Then we enjoyed each others' company- ate, laughed and played games. This is a picture of Kellie's favorite part of the UTA tour...in the Engineering building...

Then after they left it was back to reality. I enjoy work though, so it is not to bad :) I am thankful that I have a job. I am even more thankful that I have a job that allows me to go back to school to complete a Masters for 50% off!! I am also thankful for my husband, he loves me so much and is so encouraging. He leads me well.

"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us"
